The beginning of RAW: Angel of Brooklyn

March 2009.
It´s still cold in New York and I return
from a walk through Brooklyn.
Crossing Brooklyn Bridge I shoot the standard stuff tourists are used to capture on film: pylons, steel cables ...
Suddenly an angel appears and for the first time I become aware of an idea called RAW.
It´s time to start a series of photographies which capture life on the streets as it is:
Realistic,
Authentic,
Witnessed by me/my camera.
Fortunately I am not aware that it will take me five years to capture moments for six different sections.
Fortunately I don´t think about having a kind of career break to work with the photos.
Fortunately I do nothing other than enjoying the moment.
Otherwise I would not proceed with RAW.
Have fun with the nineteen moments of RAW. Take a look at each section and feel free to send some feedback to me.
Watch out for the latest news to come and stay connected.
Have a nice week-end, T.
